Lucas Lepore first came to our Gradum Jupiter facility at just 9 years old. He had one clear goal in mind: to make his local travel baseball team. He and his family dreamed of the opportunity to compete across the state of Florida and maybe, eventually, across the country against tougher competition.
The great Tony Gwynn — Hall of Famer, over 3,000 career hits, and a lifetime .338 batting average — had an incredible career and is often quoted for his simple, powerful hitting advice. Here are just a few things he’s said about the swing and what he taught:
1. Exit velocity up 20+ MPH
2. Consistently hitting balls 260+ feet
3. 10+ Home Runs, 20+ Doubles, .300+ Batting Average this year
Today, Lucas isn’t just playing travel ball — he’s dominating it.
